Film to Digital Images

It seems that film photography is making somewhat of a comeback, similar to music on vinyl discs; who said analogue was dead?

After serious consideration I decided to be totally self indulgent, bite the bullet and invest in a classic film camera.   This has just arrived along with some rolls of Kodak Portra and Fuji Superior colour negative film and the challenge now begins to learn how to use a film camera once again.

I'm really looking forward to the challenge as no longer can I just snap away at different exposure settings, and as I won't be able to see the result instantly on an LCD screen, it will force me to be much more considered about all aspects of capturing the photograph.

First film, taken using Fuji Superior 200

All taken on Leica M4-P with 28mm Elmarit.
